In close collaboration with Mendix's web operations team, I have had the opportunity to contribute to & help guide the evolution of the web design system. This consists of building & maintaining page templates and their components in Figma, designing new pages, updating old pages, QA, and facilitating smooth handoff to developers. In working on high-visibility pages, I strive to set the tone for users' future interactions with the Mendix brand.
I contributed to a large scale redesign of the homepage, collaborating closely with the web development team. This project introduced updated text, color, and component styles that would be instated as global updates, working towards making the site more stylistically consistent.
I also had the opportunity to reimagine the experience around browsing Mendix's long-form Customer Stories.
With the new Customer Stories section, I strived to create an experience that feels as rich and dynamic as the stories themselves. I collaborated with stakeholders across the Web Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop an engaging way to showcase these stories effectively.
I believe my contributions to the Mendix site have resulted in a smoother page-building experience and clearer communication with developers, two changes I am proud of.
